Research overview
Research on GHK-Cu examines its role in upregulating extracellular matrix remodelling genes, promoting collagen and elastin expression, and modulating angiogenic growth factors in dermal and tissue-repair models.
Mechanism
High-affinity copper(II) chelation by the GHK tripeptide, implicated in modulating gene expression associated with collagen synthesis, antioxidant activity, and tissue remodelling.
Research applications
Dermal remodelling and collagen signalling research, wound-healing pathway studies, antioxidant and metalloenzyme research.
Storage & handling
Store lyophilised at -20C, protected from light. Once reconstituted, store at 2-8C and use within the timeframe stated on the Certificate of Analysis.
Solubility: Soluble in water
Stability: Stable for extended periods when stored lyophilised at -20C and protected from light. As a copper-chelated complex, avoid prolonged exposure to light and air once reconstituted, which can affect the copper-peptide bond over time. Once reconstituted, store at 2-8C and use within the timeframe stated on the Certificate of Analysis.
Batches & documentation
Every released batch is listed here with its own Certificate of Analysis, its testing and review dates, and its current status — permanently, including after it sells out. This compound has no released batch yet, so the list is empty rather than provisional.
